Minnesota Energy Resources is celebrating dads this Father’s Day. The company asked employees to submit pictures and provide a few thoughts about what it means to be a dad.

Here are their words:

“I love being a dad because I get to help these young adults become part of something bigger than their own selves. I get to watch them all grow up and start families of their own.” — Nick Krzeminski, vice president

“One of the things I love the most is seeing them grow into the adults they are and that they continue to exceed my expectations. I feel very fortunate to have had all the adventure we did in the past and to now have them driving our future adventures. It is always special when our group can get together.” — John Padalino, field manager — operations

“I love being a dad! I believe it’s the most important and rewarding job in my life. People are called to do many different things in their lives and being a dad was mine. To be able to pass down your legacy to your children and grandchildren is one of the greatest gifts I have ever received. I am truly blessed!” — Scott Peterson, operations manager

“Being a dad is the most amazing and worthwhile responsibility I’ve ever had. It is also the most rewarding. To see my kids grown into virtuous young adults couldn’t make me prouder.” — Shawn Walls, operations supervisor
