Minnesota Energy Resources employees care deeply about the communities where they live and serve. That’s why employees chose to donate $2,500 to Special Olympics Minnesota.
The donation is part of the Minnesota Energy Resources Safety Charity Challenge, a companywide program to encourage employees to live and work safely while positively impacting their local communities. Employees have the opportunity to direct a contribution toward one of several charities at the end of each quarter when safety goals are met.
After the second quarter, they selected Special Olympics Minnesota, which provides year-round sports training and athletic competition to create an inclusive community for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympics Minnesota is one of dozens of nonprofit organizations Minnesota Energy Resources is proud to support every year.
